So, this week we were learning some pretty cool stuff that relates to physics--which is what I want to learn about in college! But anyways, we were given the equation for velocity of different things- particles, balls, (balls lol), cannonballs, and cars and what not. Then we had to figure out position, acceleration, and other things. We haven't had to figure out jerk so far which is cool though because who even cares about jerk anyways.
The part I can't really wrap my head around is when we have to cancel out units. I understand the process of cancelling out units but I don't always understand why the units are what they are. For example: mph * sec. WTF is that? How did we get there?! WTF CRESSWELL!? I think that we should learn about what is even going on there.
Other than that this whole unit has been cool thus far. All 1 section of it that we have gone through so far.
I just watched "The Imitation Game" and I want to learn about how computers work now. Teach me the theory behind games, puzzles, algorithms, and turing machines. THE WORLD IS MY OYSTER!
