So, this week we learned more about the composition of functions and finding the derivatives of that stuff... And also we learned about u substitution, and then we wrapped it all up with second derivatives. Woohoo! I thought that u substitution was pretty cool, though. It made it a lot easier to find the anti-derivatives of things. I spent a while on that little mini-quiz 4 question thing just really looking at what was going on during u substitution and what the logic behind using it was and it was very interesting for me. I ended up spending all my time thinking about that, though and I missed some of the problems, but oh well. At least I got a better understanding of u substitution. Learning was still achieved.
Finding the second derivative of stuff isn't that hard. Just find the first derivative and the plug in your d/dx stuff and it will work... I hope that I am prepared for this quiz on Monday because tonight I have rocky horror, and then I'm gonna get cray on the Sabbath so we'll see if I remember anything come Monday... Just kidding.
